Dr Joern Meissner is a leading researcher on Operations and Pricing Strategy in the Department of Management Science at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), according to government ratings, the highest rated school in terms of research output in the UK, a distinction it shares with London Business School. He received his PhD in Management Science from Columbia Business School in New York and holds a Graduate Business Degree from the University of Hamburg in Germany. His work has appeared in such prestigious journals as Operations Research and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management (MSOM). A gifted teacher, he originated three highly popular MBA electives in Advanced Decision Models, Revenue Management and Supply Chain Management at LUMS.
